West Baden Hotel - Christmas

I like this game.

Checkmate, Sissy!

Battle of the Brains.

The tree in the dome. It was pretty but the girls were more interested in the chessboard. - Nov. 2009

French Lick Sheraton at Christmas

This day shouldn't have happened. The girls were super tired and Lindsey was in meltdown mode but once we arrived at the hotel, they were angels. The holiday spirit must have caught them offguard. It was a great day from then on.

Hmm wonder which list we're on. Let's make sure we're on the good list.

Now let's get our story straight. You tell Santa we're good and I won't harm the ornaments.

Hannah loved the gingerbread house. Mommy only had to retrieve her from under the ropes twice. - Nov. 2009

More from the Circus

The elephants were a family fave.

Ella was super excited. About the circus and the snacks. - Nov. 2009

Circus Time

For Lindsey to sit this still, it must be fascinating!

The big tigers caught Hannah's attention.

They were pretty cool!

Three rings of fun! - Nov. 2009

Young Executive

Hannah multitasks - answering the phone, balancing the checkbook and grabbing a snack. What do you mean the order is late? - Nov. 2009

Tree Decorating

Mommy let us put up our Christmas tree before Thanksgiving. We were super excited! Here Mommy got a little excited too, playing with the shutter on her camera. We got in on the action too. We liked to see what it looked like when Mommy drew with the camera. We asked her to draw triangles, swirlies and even a kitty. It didn't look like a kitty when she was done, but we still had fun.

Lindsey liked the swirlies the best.

We got a little crazy with the ornaments. Lindsey was convinced she needed sunglasses and Hannah wanted to put pompons on the tree. We decided we'd use them to make snowmen on another day. It was getting pretty late.

The little tree is in Hannah's room. She would have warranted a bigger tree, but it wouldn't fit.

Lindsey's room has the pencil tree. The girls decorated both trees. They helped carry all the ornaments upstairs and, other than the up-high places, they decorated them all by themselves. That may explain why some branches have three ornaments each:) - Nov. 2009

Happy Birthday - Grandma and Papa's Continued

Lindsey shuns the camera. When she's done with photos, she's done.

Hannah blows out the candles.

We can't wait to blow out the candles. That's the best part of the birthday - well, actually, the best part is the ice cream.

One last look at our gifts. We had a great time celebrating! - Nov. 2009

Happy Birthday - Grandma and Papa's

A minute of quiet with my presents...

Can we paint now Mommy, PLEASE...

We got lots of cool gifts - clothes, princess gear, fairies, puppy dogs with their own carriers. Now can we paint?

Hannah checks out her new threads. Before we left, she'd tried everything on. She even wore a new outfit home.

Lindsey wasn't so hip on trying on the new clothes but she still liked opening them. - Nov. 2009

Birthday - Home Sweet Home

Lindsey opens a gift...

Fun outside with Grandpa. It's too cold to go outside now but luckily it was nice and warm the weekend of our bday party.

Hannah gave Ella a thrill ride. Mommy gave the first few rides but her legs were too long.
