Santa Train

Every year, the Indiana Railroad sponsors Santa on the train. Santa travels through several Indiana and Illinois communities on the train and stops at stations to let children aboard to visit with him, Mrs. Claus and all their friends. We drove to Oblong, Ill. to see Santa on one of his many stops. The girls were really excited up until we got close to getting on the train. Lindsey had some issues to attend to and informed Mommy she didn't want to get on the train. Aunt Dionne took Hannah and Ella, while Lindsey and Mommy stayed behind and greeted them when they got off the train. Hannah told Santa she wanted a pink baby for Christmas. - December 2008

Happy Holidays from the Hevrons!

Santa Day at LTC

Every year, Mommy's school has an event called Santa Day. They have all kinds of free games, crafts and we can sit on Santa's lap and tell him what we want for Christmas. I loved all the coloring and crafts, but Lindsey was a little unsure of what to make of all the people, especially Santa. She stayed close to Mommy. We had a great time! Aunt Dionne and Cousin Ella came with us. - Dec. 2008

One thing Lindsey did like at Santa Day was the light display in the library. After Santa Day, we picked up a pizza and ran home for dinner. Then we drove to Palestine to see the Christmas lights. Hannah and Lindsey decided that was their favorite part of the whole day. Ella wasn't so sure about that part.

Tuesday

The Big Top

We went to the Shrine Circus in Evansville the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It lasted more than 3 hours but we had a blast. - November 2008

We especially liked the pretty ladies, the elephants and the tigers.

Birthday celebration #2

We had our birthday party on Sunday so on our actual birthday, Nov. 11, we had a pretty quiet night. We blew out the candles on the last four cupcakes and played with our new toys. - Nov. 2008

Gifts, gifts and more gifts

We had a great birthday filled with sheep banks, Barbies, Cabbage Patch dolls, games, backpacks, stickers, and more. It was just like Christmas! - Nov. 2008

Birthday Bash #1

Yum, those birthday cupcakes look good! - Nov. 2008

Farm Fun

We like it when Mommy takes us for walk in the double stroller so we decided we'd take our babies for a walk in their strollers. It was cold but we wore Mommy down. Hannah said "Mommy, this is hard." - Nov. 2008

Monday

Just for Fun

Ahhh! I love to have my picture taken, says Hannah. - Oct. 2008

Hannah's beaming smile was actually in response to this mug of Lindsey in her princess crown, a staple since Halloween. Show us that princess wave Lindster!

Sunday

Fall Fun

We went to see Cousin Ella, Aunt Dionne and Uncle Adam in Evansville this weekend. We were so excited. We haven't seen Uncle Adam since Easter! - Oct. 2008

Hannah and Ella enjoy a little Elmo's World in the papasan chair. Mommy and Daddy, can we get one?

Friday

Trick or Treat at the Trail Oct. 30

The princess is hungry.

Nothing a little soup and sandwich won't fix...

...or a few Cheetos and M&Ms (maybe a couple suckers). - Oct. 2008

Trick or Treat at the Trail Oct. 30

We had a great time and we got a lot of candy. Friday, Oct. 31, was our Halloween party at school. We both dressed as princesses for that one. - Oct. 2008

Trick or Treat at the Trail Oct. 30

Oct. 30 was the annual Trick or Treat at the Trail at Mommy's school. I dressed up like a bumblebee. I especially liked my stinger in the back. Lindsey was a pretty princess. We worked hard to perfect her parade wave. - Oct. 2008

Tuesday

Pumpkin patch snack time

The quest for the perfect pumpkin, mazes, slides and wagon rides are hard work so we enjoyed some apple cider and a "big girl" cookie before heading to McDonald's for lunch and then to Aunt Dionne's house to play. - Oct. 2008

Pumpkin patch

The straw slide was a favorite of Lindsey...

Ella...

and Hannah. - Oct. 2008

Pumpkin patch

There were so many pumpkins, it was hard to choose the perfect one, but Hannah and I each found one we liked. -Oct. 2008

Pumpkin patch pals

Then, Mommy, Daddy and we took a wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch to pick out our very own pumpkins.

First, we went through the maze. When we got all the way through, we each got to ring the bell. It was really loud.

Hannah, Ella and Lindsey patiently wait to begin their adventure at Mayse Farms in Evansville. - Oct. 2008

New wheels (to us anyway)

Thanks to Mommy's friend Janice, we have new wheels!!!! Daddy is getting us a new battery so we can tool around the farm. Freedom!!! - Sept. 2008

New wheels, new drive

Now we have somewhere to ride our bikes - our very own slab! - Sept. 2008

Hannah is all smiles riding her new bike outside.

Lindsey points out Mommy's truck. In about a week, Mommy and Daddy can drive on the slab too.

Monday

Time to head home from the zoo

Sunscreen anyone? Lindsey and Hannah share a snack before our last stop at the zoo - the gift shop!!! Lindsey picked out a stuffed horse and Hannah a blue dinosaur (thanks grandma)! Mommy bought us a book and we have read it every night. We had a great time! - Sept. 2008

Amazonia

Hannah and Lindsey check out the turtles, birds and capybaras in Amazonia at the zoo. Hannah decided to cool off in the zoo fountains but, unlike her cousin Ella, opted to just get her hands wet. not her whole body. Lindsey joined the fun but stayed out of the water so her crackers wouldn't get soggy. - Sept. 2008
