More May fun

Lindsey decided her "nanimals" needed to see the interior of the bathroom so she lined them all up. - May 2009

Lindsey, puppy dog, Ella and Hannah enjoy a little breakfast before tearing up the house on a recent sleepover. They have a great time when they're together. Well - at least for a little while.

Cinco de Fryo

Lorelei and Lindsey do a little off-roading at Daddy's work party at the house. - May 2009

Lorelei and Hannah share the chair at the party.

Easter Sunday

Because of turnaround at the refinery, Daddy had to go home to Illinois Saturday night, but we stayed in Jasper and went to church Sunday morning. Grandma helped with church so Grandpa and Mommy sat with us at church. Lindsey said "That was fun" after the service was over. They even had an Easter egg hunt. After church, Dionne and Ella came over and we celebrated Easter again. Lindsey thought it would be fun to take all of the napkins off the table and spread them out on the floor. Good thing Grandma had ironed all of them the night before. - April 2009

We were in a great mood Easter morning and we made it through the whole church service!

Hannah was so glad to see Ella again. It had been a whole 24 hours, OK it was more like 12, but they are big buddies.

Lindsey wanted to check out what was in all the eggs - lots of M&Ms.

Easter weekend birthday party

After the Egg Hunt and then Easter dinner at Grandma and Grandpa H's, we hopped in the car and headed to Evansville for cousin Ella's second birthday party. Aunt Dionne made an awesome Kermit cake. It was YUMMY, especially with ice cream.

Ella couldn't wait to dig in. Neither could we but Mommy convinced us to keep our hands out of the cake.

On the Hunt

We had a busy Easter weekend. We kicked it off with an Easter egg hunt at Holland Park. Of course, we had just as much fun playing on the playground equipment as we did hunting eggs. - April 2009

Hannah especially enjoyed the swings.

All the grandchildren had fun going through the candy in the eggs they found, well except Lindsey. She's not a fan of candy unless it's M&Ms. I'm not sure Cooper knew what to think.

Egg dying fun

We had the best time dying Easter eggs with Grandma, Grandpa, Dionne and Cousin Ella. Mommy would have posted more photos but because we were so messy we dyed eggs topless and you know how things circulate on the internet. - April 2009

Cousin Cooper's First Birthday

We went to Indy to celebrate Cooper's first birthday. He had a blast and so did we. Little boys get some really cool gifts. - March 2009

Monday

New Songs

We've evolved. Hannah and Lindsey are growing up and their taste is music is changing quickly. Right now we're in a Cheetah Girls' phase so that's what's on the menu. I have to say though it took us awhile to figure out what the "teapot" song was. It was actually "Deeper and Deeper." Guess it does kind of sound like "Teapot."

Saturday

Nature Girls

It was bound to happen. We have become nature girls. Earlier in the week, Daddy said we were going to walk back the lane to pick Easter lilies (OK, Mommy said they are really daffodils). We all grabbed baskets and walked to find the yellow flowers. Daddy had to go cut them because of the briars (and because we're not allowed to use sharp scissors), but we carried them back to the house in our baskets. We had to stop more than once on the way back because the flowers kept jumping out of our baskets. We can't wait until it gets warmer and the purple flowers come out. - March 2009

Great-grandpa's birthday bash

We celebrated Great-Grandpa's 85th birthday in February in Jasper. We had two birthday cakes (not sure what happened to this one.) We ate tons and played a lot. - February 2009
