Drummer girls

As part of the college's iDrum program, kids have an opportunity to learn how to play the drums. Lindsey was all about it at one of the class tours to day care. - July 2009

She even played with Greg at the community drum circle at the city park, while Mommy took photos and video for work.

Hannah got in on the action too with a drum and a tambourine. Music must run in the genes.

Tuesday

Picnic Pals

It was a last-minute decision, but we decided to take the girls to the Marathon picnic at the city park. They may have been armed with squirt guns, but they still didn't like the clowns. They had a blast swimming at the pool, however. - June 2009

Thursday

More Farm Girls

More Lindsey rolling in the grass - I hope this doesn't become a habit or we'll be going through a lot of stain remover. - June 2009

Hannah thinks it's fun too.

Who would have thought a wraparound porch could be so much fun?

On Great-Grandpa's Farm

Aren't we sweet? On Father's Day, Mommy and Daddy drove up to Great-Grandpa's farm. We had fun playing on the porch. - June 2009

Lindsey liked playing in the grass. It was a nice cool spot.

Hannah was having a dramatic moment which Lindsey tried in earnest to spoil by jumping into the picture.

Wet and Wild in Holiday World

It was hot but that first blast of cold water was C-O-L-D! - June 2009

Hannah and Ella chase around one of the shooting spouts. This was before we headed into the waterpark.

Ella and Lindsey share a cool spot.

More Holiday World

We decided to take a ride on the Storybook Train. Weaving through the lines was just as fun as taking the train. -June 2009

Mommy barely fit in the little train with us but we really wanted to sit in this car.

Holiday World Fun

Despite a bit of unfavorable reviews from the girls last year, we decided to try Holiday World again this year. We packed up the backpack, met up with Dionne and Ella and took to the park. After a quick tour of the bathroom, we headed off to the kids' area where the girls decided to try out a few rides. Hannah and Ella took off in a Blue Jet. Good rates and a safe and smooth ride. - June 2009

Lindsey preferred the yellow jet. It's her favorite color.

The merry-go-round was the favorite of Ella, Hannah and Lindsey. Hannah was a little hesitant until she found out she could pick out any horse to ride.

Wednesday

Happy early birthday, Dionne!

We traveled to Evansville a couple weeks before Aunt Dionne's 35th's birthday. It was fun playing with Ella and watching Dionne blow out 18 candles. (We would have put on more but the little girls were getting carried away burying the candles in the cake.) Everyone had a chance to blow out the candles, even Aunt Dionne! - June 2009

Ella has a lot of fun toys in her backyard. This little house used to be at Grandma and Grandpa's. If you want to see how much we've grown, look back at the older posts on this blog. Wow, we're big girls now!

More May fun

Lindsey decided her "nanimals" needed to see the interior of the bathroom so she lined them all up. - May 2009

Lindsey, puppy dog, Ella and Hannah enjoy a little breakfast before tearing up the house on a recent sleepover. They have a great time when they're together. Well - at least for a little while.

Cinco de Fryo

Lorelei and Lindsey do a little off-roading at Daddy's work party at the house. - May 2009

Lorelei and Hannah share the chair at the party.
